We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for driving technology adoption across complex enterprise environments. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic influence, requiring both technical depth and cross-functional collaboration.

Role Purpose:

To architect and deliver software solutions that empower business operations, enhance platform capabilities, and support the strategic adoption of technology across the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

Design, build, and enhance scalable software solutions using modern engineering practices and technologies such as Java, SQL, and Spring. Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and innovative platform features. Participate in peer reviews and foster a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Ensure secure development practices are followed to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance. Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute actively to internal technical communities.

Ability to build trust-based relationships across diverse teams and business units. Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrates patience, resilience, and empathy when engaging with stakeholders to understand their goals and challenges. Shape strategic direction by contributing to planning, budgeting, and policy development. Lead teams or act as a subject matter expert, guiding technical decisions and mentoring junior engineers. Influence cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Manage risks proactively and uphold governance standards across engineering activities.

Požadujeme:

Key Qualifications: We are looking for someone not only hands-on in back-end, but also with ANALYSIS background (requests management from client, active communication with clients, customization according to requests) Proven expertise in Java development, including multithreading, JDBC, XML, and messaging systems. Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles and architectural patterns. Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and J2EE frameworks. Proficiency in SQL and data processing for analytical and operational use cases.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with middleware technologies (e.g., MQ, JMS) and web services (SOAP, REST). Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and scripting. Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Hands-on experience with authorization frameworks and Policy-as-Code tools like OPA, implementing models such as RBAC, ABAC, or ReBAC. Exposure to authentication systems (e.g., Ping) and integration of identity services across platforms. Solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and data governance.
