HF Neus – very nice returning family who had their first au pair before Christmas. She had medical issues and couldn't come back, but they feel like an au pair is the right option for them. They have two daughters who are 11 and 3 years old and would like the oldest to develop her English skills. The youngest has a rare condition but is a happy girl, lively and active. Sometimes they go to Spain mainland for medical treatment and the au pair is to go with them if she wishes. They live in a residential area outside Palma city and need a driver. Regular au pair hours (up to 30 per week, weekends FREE). Dates: asap – 12 months if possible – MAY CONSIDER A SUMMER GIRL

HF Sylviane – returning international host family! They've grown in number. Sylviane is French, Kurt (host dad) Austrian and their two kids (Mattheo and Leon) were born in Mallorca, so they're Spanish. Both parents speak Spanish quite well, this is the language I've used with them in our interviews. Mattheo is 6 and Leon, born on October 2016. They had a summer au pair when Mattheo was little who has been coming over for 3 summers, I am waiting for her recommendation letter for them. They live in Calvià, which is quite a popular summer municipality of Mallorca with beautiful beaches and street markets. They need an au pair who has very good experience with babies and drives. Dates: May to 31/9 – English, French

HF Laura – new family to us. They are mum, dad and four beautiful girls: 7, 5, 3 & almost 2 years old. Busy house! All of the girls go to school or nursery during the morning. They live in Palma city, in a residential complex with swimming pool. Given it is well connected by public transport, they don't need a driver. Their dream au pair is someone who can speak English, no matter if Spanish is basic. The whole family will help the au pair with her Spanish for sure! This is regular au pair position and if the au pair likes cooking it would be an advantage. Dates: asap for a long term

SUMMER 2017

HF Petra – returning family! They had a summer au pair last year who is now studying in Scotland and cannot come back this year. She's writing a recommendation for them and I should have it soon. Petra is the host mum, she is a teacher and plays the bass in a band. Then we have Toni, the host dad, who is also into music (plays the piano) and Miquel, their son, who is a loving 9 years old boy (I met him and he's really cute!). This family live in Llucmajor, which is a village about 20 mins drive to Palma city. They are looking for a regular au pair who wants to spend her summer in our beautiful island getting to know music and traditions. Both parents play with their band in local “fiestas”, so this is a very good chance to get to see Mallorca. Dates: 1/7 – 31/8 
 

HF Marián – returning family! Marián and her husband have two boys who are 10 and 8 years old. They had a summer au pair last year and it was a good experience, so that they asked for a new au pair. They live in a summer resort called Cala D'Or, in a nice villa with seaview and swimming pool. They need a dynamic au pair who is a driver and has a good command of English; no problem if the au pair doesn't speak any Spanish. THEY ACCEPT A MALE AU PAIR and have a small dog. Dates: 20/6 – 31/8



HF Amparo – new family, we were recommended ;-) They are HF Marian's friends (above) so this could be ideal for two friends who want to have the au pair experience close to each other. Cala D'Or is a really nice summer area!! Amparo and her husband have two daughters who are 12 and 11 years old and they would like the au pair to speak in English to them. They would prefer an au pair who can drive and have two dogs. Please note until 20/7 they will need the au pair to help in the afternoon twice per week, they'll pay extra for this. Otherwise the au pair is to work in the mornings. Dates: 21/6 – 12/9 (flexible)

HF Sagrera – returning family to us, they had Elisa, an Italian au pair last year, who was an incredible match. They are visiting her in April and will after that send pictures and her letter of recommendation. They are mum, dad and Neus, a 11 years old girl who is a little shy at the beginning but then turns out to be fun + a cat. They live in Porto Cristo, a summer resort where Rafa Nadal has his house!! in a village house 5 minutes walk to the beach. The au pair and her will spend the morning together. Dates: 20/6 – 11/9

HF Mª Victoria – new family to us. They are dad, mum (teacher) and Biel, a boy who was born in Nov. 2015. Mum wants to try having an au pair for the first time and she would be happy to help the au pair with her Spanish if it's basic. They can speak in English and she wants the au pair to teach English to Biel. Given she is a teacher, she will have July free and wants to share it with an au pair. They don't need a driver and live in Santa Margalida, a nice village 6 km away from the beach. HF Melià – new family to us, we were recommended :-) They are mum, dad and two lovely girls who are 5 & 3 years old. This family live in Campos, a beautiful village. Have a look: http://www.undiscovered-majorca.com/campos.htm They need a normal au pair (max. 30 hours per week) who can help with the girls in the morning. Mum works until 14, so she'll be home around 14:30-15:00 most of the days. This family sleep siesta!! and are quite sportive (non smokers only). The au pair will go with them on their boat, so please you need to know how to swim. Grandparents live near by so sometimes au pair will be free during the week. They want a non driver who can teach English to their girls and is an active person. Dates: 15/6 – 15/9

HF Sandra – new family to us who had 3 au pairs in the past. They are a young family: mum, dad and two nice and well mannered girls (7 & 4 years old). I met them in the office and they sat to draw something for an hour... so that's good! They live in Palma city center and have a nice flat with patio, where they keep two rabbits. They don't need a driver and want the au pair to speak English. Dates: au pair may arrive in June-July and stay for as long as she wants, but they do need help in August and September. This is the time when mum needs to watch out for fires on the Balearics so she may be needed if one happens. Dad is going to travel from July onwards so won't be home.





HF Alarcón – returning family to us! Mum (separated) and 9 years old twins (b & g). They live in Palma city very close to a beautiful area called Portixol, famous given its bars and coffee places and the beach... spectacular views! Mum is a nurse and needs help for about 35 hours per week, she'll pay 90€. She would like ot ifnd a nice au pair who is Catholic and has no problems with food. She doesn't need a driver. Very nice mum family. Dates: 25/6 – 11/8

HF Herzig – New international family to us. They are mum (German), dad (Spanish) and three kids: 8, 6 & 1 years old. During the summer months they live in a beautiful residential area close to the sea called Bonaire, in Alcudia. Mum doesn't work July and August, so that she would be happy to get some help. They do have a swimming pool and go out on boat, so a good swimm
