THE ROLE

As a Transport Planning Specialist you will play a key part in Logistics & Supply Chain Team in Prague. You will be responsible for analyzing confirmed and released orders, planning the availability of materials on stock, updating the production and material data, and ensuring on time production and delivery of the goods according to the customer’s request. You will be also in contact with material resources suppliers, supply chain stakeholders and clients to ensure high quality services. Within this complex role, you will manage supply chain & logistics processes and build relationship with all the involved stakeholders and customers while using foreign languages on daily bases. 

Within your role, some of your key responsibilities will be:

    • Analyse production demand and stock availability
    • Transport exception management (solving of day to day issues) to fulfil internal and external customer requirements and still delivering in time
    • Communicate instructions and monitor supplier delivery performance
    • Working in close contact with order taking, inventory deployment and sites logistics to ensure a proper material production planning
    • Analyzing of the data gathered by the reporter and challenging appropriate parties
    • Link the transport needs with the customer order
    • Proactive chasing of suppliers and making sure on-time and in-full deliveries
    • Data upload and maintenance in SAP
    • Identify & analyze risks for out of stock, find and coordinate solutions
    • Make adjustments to the transport plan accordingly if needed

THE IDEAL PROFILE

    • High school or University education preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade or relevant field
    • Previous work experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant field is a plus
    • Advanced to fluent knowledge of English
    • Fluent level of German, Dutch or French is a great advantage (spoken and written)
    • Knowledge of SAP or ERP would be an asset
    • Strong coordinating, analytical and problem solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills and customer oriented mindset
    • Flexible and able to prioritise workload effectively
    • Self-starter, a team player ready to work hard and learn more
    • High energy & positive attitude
