OVERVIEW:

The Professional Services Business Unit is a growing function within the Zebra organization and is critical for providing excellent customer experiences. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Program Management Office. This role will be responsible for providing business intelligence reporting into the Professional Services Delivery group. To better serve the data needs of our business, we plan to standardize our data reporting globally, by defining a common global data dictionary. The Business Analyst will work with the Regional Project Management Offices, the Global Program Management Office and Sales Operations to understand current practices and make data driven recommendations for improvements. The role will be part of a change management team to drive enhanced performance across the business unit. This is an exciting role, working in a dynamic team which provides continuous improvement in the way we deliver new technology projects to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working directly with business stakeholders, designs a wide variety of reports using data from one or multiple systems. Delivers report in format to aid stakeholders both within and outside the functional area (PowerPoint, PowerBI, PDF, etc).
• Uses business acumen to look beyond the data to generate recommendations for a wide variety of problems
• Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences and areas for improvement.
• May be responsible for data governance processes and quality in assigned area of responsibility
• Drives change by developing new processes and reports to improve our ability to report and identify capability gaps
• Coaches junior level analysts in data governance, report design and analysis, and data presentation, as required.

Although the role is office based (Brno) there may be a requirement to travel internationally from time to time. There may also be periodic requirement to join conference calls in the evening, to coincide with US working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree qualified in business, maths or technical discipline
• Preferred Work Experience (years): 4-6 years
• Experience in business reporting and analysis
• Can synthesize complex data into themes, stories and recommendations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Can present data in a visually compelling format to help business stakeholders understand the issues, possibilities and recommendations
• Familiarity of working in a project management environment
• Passion for process improvement and change management
• Experience of working with Oracle and SalesForce
• Highly proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, SharePoint
• Knowledge of SQL and VBA advantageous
• Ability to manage requests with short timelines
• Keen to learn while being a good team player
