KPMG Deal Advisory is one of KPMG’s key business units and the leading M&A advisor. Its Corporate Finance team offers a full range of M&A advisory to leading international and local clients on both buy- and sell-side mandates, valuations and financing engagements. We are looking for a professional with 2-3 year experience in corporate finance field.

Job content:

The job content would be to assist in all aspects of corporate finance work undertaken by KPMG:

• deal origination including researching markets and targets, investigating opportunities, putting together presentations and proposals, contacting potential clients and attending meetings;
• writing of company overviews, information memoranda and other reports in English/Czech language;
• organising data rooms, addressing investors’ questions and liaising with other advisors;
• undertake valuations and financing projects – both the technical aspect of the work (business plans, valuation and financing models, etc.) and report writing;
• client liaison – point of contact and attending meetings;
• assistance on financial terms of term sheets and transaction documentation;
• project management assistance.

Requirements:

• university level education with preferably finance related degree;
• 2-3 years in Corporate finance (M&A, valuation, financing, restructuring or similar) environment;
• knowledge of accounting / use of financial statements;
• fluent English and Czech knowledge in spoken and written form;
• team player with strong communication skills;
• highly competent with PC skills, especially MS Excel;
• enthusiastic, confident, self starter, able to work independently, logical thinker;
• strong analytical skills.
