BUYER / PURCHASING SUPPORT WITH SWEDISH, location Ostrava

For the Purchasing Centre Ostrava, DHL Express (Czech Republic) s.r.o. we are looking for candidate who will join our existing team with excellent Swedish language skills to support our purchasing activities.

YOUR TASKS WILL BE:

* Manage the central mailbox, dispatch purchase requests to responsible buyer, ensure timely processing of requests.
* Actively drive the use of procurement catalogues and ensuring compliance with global, regional and local procedures and policies.
* Daily support and process the requirements/orders in the ordering system (e-tool).
* Processing Purchasing requests, ensuring mandatory information is included.
* Communication with business requestors, ensuring request is properly specified and documented.
* Searching for new suppliers and communication with existing suppliers, matching purchase requests with existing contracts and preferred vendors.
* Ask for competitive bids (according the purchase policy) for requested goods/services (without a framework contract) and analyse them based on price quotations, quality, delivery terms and specifications. Negotiate small value contracts if applicable.
* Maintain good relationship with suppliers and internal Business Partners and solve day-to-day problems
* Generate required reporting, analyze reports and identify catalog improvements
* Provide administrative support to operational buying activities
* Identify and sign contract with vendors with repetitive purchases. Ensure vendors are following agreed terms and conditions.
* Follow up of the purchasing process (receipt of order confirmations, check of delivery date, actual receipt/execution) and provide feedback to the internal Business Partner.
* Data system maintenance: - Purchase order administration - Master vendor data - Catalogues.

WE REQUIRE:

* Minimum 1-2 years of experience/ First experience in a similar position is an advantage.
* High school / University degree.
* Excellent verbal and written English and Swedish skills.
* Czech language not required.
* Be fully computer literate, with a solid knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
* Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills, professional attitude, positive attitude, flexibility, integrity.
* Analytic skills and detail oriented.
