For the world's leading chemical company we are recruiting: Procurment Officer (m/f) Located in the heart of Berlin, BASF Services Europe brings together an international team of around 1,200 colleagues, with over 50 different nationalities, working in our Finance, Controlling, HR departments and Procurement. The performance and expertise of over 200 of our BASF companies in the whole of Europe are collected together in our BASF Shared Service Center.

What you can expect:

As a Procurement Officer, you will ensure the supply of raw materials, technical working materials or services for your area of responsibility.

• you will be responsible for operational procurement (Source-to-Contract) within your area of responsibility and will issue orders in SAP (Purchase-to-Pay)
• you will act as the main point of contact for suppliers and internal business partners, such as the purchasing or accounting departments or technical entities
• in addition, the processing of orders and handling of inquiries in terms of workflow will also be part of your work
• you will also support your team in all administrative and organizational matters

What we expect:

• you have successfully completed your vocational training and have already gained up to two years of professional experience in the commercial sector, preferably in purchasing
• besides good project management knowledge, you are also a strong user of MS Office as well as purchasing-specific IT tools
• you possess strong communication skills in English, German and ideally in an additional European language
• your high team orientation, complete your skill set
