We are looking for a PANEL BEATER (who also can paint from time to time). Position: Panel beater (car painter) Period of mission: Long time Total n° of persons required: 1 Start-up date: ASAP Location: Merksem
Responsibilities:
- Assembling/disassembling damaged car parts
- Using spotter and manual tools for panel beating
- Cutting and welding metal sheets
- Preparing vehicles before painting – masking, filling, grinding, etc.
- Mixing paint, choosing the right colours and shades (work only as a backup, there is one person responsible for this part of the job)
- Working with passenger cars, caravans.
Qualification:
- Few years of experience as a panel beater (experience with car painting is very welcome)
- Skills in dissembling/assembling car body parts
- Knowledge of grinding process, puttying and polishing
- Able to mix paints and use paint mixers (big advantage)
- High quality of work, high degree of precision
- Flexibility (working overtime and late hours)
- High motivation and willingness to engage in a long term employment
- Good organization and keeping the working place clean
- Language: communicative English or Dutch
